She's a 19 year old girl that has recently been diagnosed with brain stem glioma (this is the consensus at the moment, it is a type of cancer that originates from the brain or brain stem), with a survival of less than a year.
I found her family's blog with details of her struggle and extreme awesomeness via another blog who found it via another blog, etc etc... I'm not usually a huge bandwagon jumper, but after checking out her Photography on Deviantart and her Personal blog, i just had to send her some love and support.

I just found out about Wennie listed on Blog of Note. What amazing to me is that she's so upbeat in spite of everything! I don't know if I'd react the same way! Would also like to say that this is a cool concept. Petra p.s.
